2006 Honda Element
- Replace VVT spool valve/pressure switch assembly (warranty) Degrease engine from oil leak, top off engine oil.
- Inspected brake system and found excessive heat and wear on rear brakes. When applying brakes, noticed pressure was only being applied to rear brakes. Replaced brake master cylinder, rear brake pads and rotors. Performed road test following repair. Brakes engaged normally.
2012 GMC Sierra
- Scanned PCM and found code stored for DEF reservoir heater fault. Inspected wiring and connectors for faults and found none. Tested resistance of DEF reservoir heater and found resistance out of specification, confirming faulty heater. Removed DEF tank and found rotten tank straps. Replaced DEF heater assembly, associated gaskets/seals and tank straps. Cleared codes and performed stationary regeneration of exhaust system. Road tested vehicle while monitoring exhaust data and found no faults, no codes returned.
2022 Subaru WRX
- Install customer supplied intake air box and OEM interior footwell lighting kit
2008 Ford Pickup
- Inspected front hub vacuum actuator system. Found good vacuum at vacuum switching valve, however did not have vacuum on other port of valve. Verified valve was getting proper power and signals. Determined valve faulty. Replaced valve and checked system performance. No concerns following repair.
2014 Jeep Wrangler
- Replace upper and lower ball joints
2005 Subaru Forester
- Found a/c belt loose and power steering belt making contact with tensioner lock bolt (belt too long). Found rear brake rotors deformed from corrosion, brake pads worn to limits. Found rear subframe rotten severely, rocker panels rotten severely, massive holes in rockers. Nearly all suspension/frame bushings in rear dry rotten, falling apart.
- Replace serpentine belts, clean and lubricate belt tensioners.
- Replace rear brake pads, rotors. Clean and lubricate brake caliper slides and brackets.
2010 Toyota Tundra
- Replace left rear axle assembly
2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
- Road tested vehicle and heard rattle/squeak noise from right rear of cab. Pulled over at rest stop and inspected back seats for loose objects. Found OEM Jack under right rear seat had not been installed correctly and was loose. Also heard noise from right rear head rest. Removed head rest and jack and set them aside to rule them out. After removing items, continued road test and noise was no longer present. After arriving back to shop, reinstalled head rest and jack properly, took vehicle for second road test and heard no abnormal noises. Customer convinced there is something wrong with right rear of vehicle after informing him of findings. Inspected right rear brakes, suspension, found no faults. Installed Fabtech leveling kit, took vehicle for 3rd test drive following leveling kit installation and confirmed no abnormal noises.
2008 Audi A4
- Pressurized cooling system and found coolant leaking from housing on rear of cylinder head and from one hose that attaches to housing. Replaced housing under warranty (installed november 2020) Replaced leaking hose. refilled coolant and checked for leaks. No leaks found.
2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty
- Replace fuel filters
2014 Toyota Tacoma
- Removed left rear wheel and brake drum. Found brake shoes, hardware, adjuster and drum completely saturated in gear oil. Removed parking brake shoes, hardware and brake cable, Pulled axle/backing plate assembly from axle housing and replaced axle seal. Reassembled with new seal, parking brake shoes, hardware and drum. Found exhaust flange on passenger side rotten completely apart. Cut out flange and welded in straight connector. Customer request check front right tire for leak. Found air leaking from bead of tire/wheel mating surface. Recommend visit tire shop and have them remove tire from wheel, clean wheel sealing surface and reinstall/recheck for leak.
